D-J Engineering is currently seeking to fill multiple Project Engineer positions. We are looking for individuals who possesses a great work ethic and drive to learn new skills within the aerospace industry.
Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but will train the right candidate. Engineering Degree is preferred, but will consider candidates with equivalent experience.
Duties Include:
- Interpreting customer drawings
- Creating Bills of Material
- Determining manufacturing processes
- Working with Manufacturing Planners to create manufacturing plans
- Managing projects through engineering processes
- Providing shop support through build process
Basic Qualifications:
- Basic Office and Computer Skills including Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
- Experience with CAD (Catia) is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Manufacturing Processes preferred
- Good organizational and communication skills
- BS in an Engineering discipline is preferred, but candidates with equivalent experience will be considered
Other Qualifications:
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus
